Description of the system

• 1. Air disinfection These products - Soluva® Air T, Soluva® Air W, Soluva® Air F, Soluva® Air M8, Soluva® Air M10 - are designed for disinfection of air in closed rooms. For this purpose, one or more units are installed on the wall, ceiling, in ventilation or air conditioning systems of buildings or vehicles. The air inside the room will be circulated continuously. The product should be installed and operated in accordance with the instructions in the operating manual and the safety instructions. The operating instructions also contain provide information on how to achieve an optimum disinfection effect, i.e. how to treat the largest possible amount of room air in the shortest possible time. The disinfection effect depends in particular on the positioning of the product in the room, the selected ventilation intensity, the geometry of the room and the furniture in the room.
• 2. Surface disinfection The product - Soluva® Zone H - is designed for disinfection of surfaces. The product should be operated in accordance with the instructions in the operating manual and the safety instructions. The operating instructions also provide information on how to achieve an optimum disinfection effect, i.e. how to treat the largest possible surface are in the shortest possible time. The disinfection effect depends in particular on the distance, the angle of inclination and the nature of the surface to be irradiated, as well as the shadow effects caused by aggregation of the bacteria or by dust.

Please note: The disinfection effect of the UV light emitted by the lamp kills micro-organisms such as bacteria and viruses in the irradiated air /on the irradiated surface, thus reducing the risk of infection but the air/surface will never be completely (100%) free of germs or bacteria or viruses.

Also, when the Soluva® products are in operation other reasonable hygiene measures (Distance, Hygiene, Face Masks) should be continued and should be applied in addition. In particular, it should be ensured that sufficient hygiene and infection protection measures have been taken or can be taken at short notice so that the business operations possibly carried out in the room can continue even if the product might fail.

Legal notice

Heraeus warrants that the products are generally suitable for air or surface disinfection and that they conform to the specifications mentioned above. Heraeus shall not be liable for any damages, costs or expenses resulting from a defect or failure of the product, including the unavailability of the product during the repair by Heraeus or the time of transportation to and from Heraeus. Heraeus shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit or loss of sales, e.g. resulting from an interruption of customer’s business. The limitation of liability does not apply in case of intent, fraudulent misrepresentation or in case of a liability pursuant to the German Product Liability Act.
